What we currently use

ContinUnity is deliberately light. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data. The technologies currently in use are:

• Essential (sign-in): our sign-in provider sets a strictly necessary cookie to keep you securely logged in to your account and journal. Without it, the members area cannot work.
• Essential (hosting): our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies or logs to serve the site securely and reliably.
• Local storage: your journal keeps a temporary backup of what you type on your own device, so your words are not lost if your connection drops. This stays on your device.
• Fonts: we load typefaces from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to deliver the fonts. This is a routine part of displaying the page.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

If we add analytics or advertising

If in future we add analytics, advertising tags, or additional non-essential tools, these may set non-essential cookies. Where they do, we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner before they load, and you will be able to accept, reject, or choose categories. This policy will be updated to list them.

Managing cookies
